Governor MedinaLUV succeeded Governor ALPHASIERRA21 as the State's second Governor. Rather than beginning with his own term, then-Governor Medina was elected during a special election. His first term lasted only a few weeks, from June 12th until July 7th, when he was re-elected for a full term, defeating former County Executive Matrix_oc in two gubernatorial elections in a row. The first Governor to be elected twice in as many weeks, Governor Medina had a clear mandate of support from the people of the state.

In the beginning of his term, he took the controversial action of pardoning then-Sheriff ShadowCulture, who was embroiled in a court case for alleged crimes in-game. Governor Medina, in a historic first-ever pardon by the Governor, cited Sheriff ShadowCulture's service and devotion to the state over its entire run. In his release, he reprimanded the Department of Justice for its failure to use administrative tools to reprimand the Sheriff. This action caused widespread division in the State, and created questions as to whether the Governor should possess such power as a full pardon.

"When I entered office I vowed to ensure the rights of both cops and criminals, and that’s a promise I am going to keep till the end of my term. My office will not and never will turn its back on an individual that has done so much for the community, has been loyal to the State of Ridgeway and to the citizens, that has been a great role model in the community, and who has been a great friend to all. A 10-second clip should not dictate his 1 year and half of dedication to the State. As a human with a heart, it is not morally okay for me to allow Mr. Shadow’s career to go down the drain after serving the Citizens of Ridgeway for almost 2 years."

In June of 2022, newly elected Lt. Governor V_15K abruptly resigned, causing a crisis within the new Governor's administration. The Governor worked quickly with the Senate to nominate and confirm then-Senator TaxesArentAwesome to serve as Ridgeway's third Lt. Governor.

In July of 2022, with renewed confidence after winning a sweeping mandate, Governor Medina started the New Beginnings Community Program, which was formed to allow members of the community who may have a criminal record to seek new beginnings within state agencies and private companies.

Governor MedinaLUV completed his term on November 20th, 2022, when he was succeeded by Governor largeTitanic2.

Lt. Governor V_15K, better known as Faris, was Ridgeway's second Lieutenant Governor. He unexpectedly resigned from office less than two weeks following his election in the early morning hours of June 27th, 2022, citing simply that he wanted to pursue other interests. He went on to start Faris' Fresh Fades, a barber shop in downtown Sterling Heights, which continues to be the most popular and successful barber shop in the State to this day.

Then-Senator TaxesArentAwesome was nominated to the position by then-Governor MedinaLUV on June 27th, 2022, and was unanimously confirmed a few days later on June 29th, 2022. As Ridgeway's first nominated Lt. Governor, Taxes' entrance to office so quickly after an election was a major surprise for voters and government officials alike. Lt. Governor TaxesArentAwesome was formally elected Lt. Governor on July 5th, 2022, and began a new full term with then-Governor MedinaLUV. Despite how tumultuous the situation had been, the MedinaLUV Administration had shown its ability to bounce back quickly and stay focused.

As Lt. Governor, Taxes focused on the judiciary. Using his connections and relationships, he actively maintained activity both in the Superior Court and in the Supreme Court. He was a champion of judicial nominees, ensuring no court seat went unfilled and that all the State's judges were competent and effective. Lt. Governor Taxes also presided over the Senate for nearly all of their sessions under his tenure, and cemented the Lt. Governor's role as President of the Senate.

On November 14th, 2022, Lt. Governor Taxes was abruptly blacklisted from the State of Ridgeway by the moderation team, forcibly removing him from office. This left then-Governor MedinaLUV, in the last few days of his term, once again without a number two. Lt. Governor Taxes is fondly remembered as a fair, disciplined, and knowledgable leader in the State of Ridgeway.
